Writing About London

WRITING ABOUT A CITY:


London is a city in the south-est of England. In Roman times the name of the city was Londinium. The poblation in Roman times was of 45.000, but now is 7.5 million people.


There are popular places in London like Trafalgar Square (battle of Trafalgar) or Victoria Street (Queen Victoria)


The people of London are called londoners or “Cockneys”. Famous londoners are Charlie Chaplin (an actor) Arthur Conan Doyle (a writer of Sherlock Holmes stories)
