Writing: Trip to a region

Hi Sam!

At the moment I'm in Long Island, New York. I'm having a great time here, I would like to you come with me the next year.

Now I'm gone a tell you what I do every day:

At the firsts days my uncles were working so me and my cousins wake up late and we had a breakfast like eggs, cereals or pancakes with siroup. Later we went to the park with some friends to play soccer with some my cousins friends. At the lunch time we don't eat much. Later we often went to a pool to swim or play with some friends too. At seven o'clock we have the dinner and then we often watch a soccer match and when the match it's over we play for a few of hours at PS3.

AN EVENT:

Two weekends ago I went to a Medieval fair with my friends. We went because it's very popular in Banyoles.

First of all we met at “Museu Darder”, then we saw all the shops in the Major Place and all the other shops in the Wall. In the Wall we saw little children running like a race with a toy horse, they were funny. At 7 p.m. Martí Corominas Viñolas and Martí Sánchez Van Den Berg wanted to eat a “Kebab” waited him bought the Kebab. Then we went to a little shop called “Costa Brava”, there are giant lollipops so I bought one like Irina, Martí C and Martí S. And finally all the other boys and girls wanted to buy an “Empanada” and then all of us we went to our home. I felt very excited because there was a lot of people and we met other friends from diferent schools.

The event finished at 9 p.m because all the shops started to close at that hour. There wasn't anything to do and we went to our homes. I enjoyed a lot, because I were with my friends and it's was like in other times.

My Day, My Week and My Weekend

MY DAY:

Hi, My name is Joel Jou. I usually get up at 7:45. I have breakfast at 8:00, then I wash my teeth and I get dressed. At 9 o'clock the classes start, we study a lot of subjects! The school finishes at 5 o'clock. Then I go to my house and I do my homework. When I finish I go to football with my friends and I go to bed about 11 o'clock.


MY WEEK:

On Monday, Tuesday and Thursday school starts at 9, but on Wednesday and Friday I start at 8:30.


MY WEEKEND:

On Saturday I usually get up early because I have football match. Then I go to Girona, but on Sunday I get up late. I go for a walk and in the afternoon I do my homework and I relax.

The people are called Long Islanders and there aren't any famous people.

London is a city in the south-est of England. In Roman times the name of the city was Londinium. The poblation in Roman times was of 45.000, but now is 7.5 million people.

There are popular places in London like Trafalgar Square (battle of Trafalgar) or Victoria Street (Queen Victoria)

The people of London are called londoners or “Cockneys”. Famous londoners are Charlie Chaplin (an actor) Arthur Conan Doyle (a writer of Sherlock Holmes stories)
